Life Writing Week - June 2008

In June 2008 we held a successful Life Writing week of workshops, discussion, readings and a visit to the historic town of Pézenas.

There was plenty of time during the week to explore Gabian and walk in the surrounding vineyards and countryside.

On the last evening the participants were keen to read the results of their week's work, so we invited a small audience to a reading and a chance to meet the writers over an apéritif.

The food was much appreciated throughout the week, and even inspired one participant to write a poem praising the cooking!

Afterwards, with the agreement of the writers, a small booklet of work written during the week was produced and distributed to participants.
